EASY WAY TRANS PTY LTD
VEHICLE TRANSPORT TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last updated: 4 October 2026

These service provisions govern all logistics, towing, and storage operations scheduled through Easy Way Trans Pty Ltd (referred to herein as 'Easy Way Trans', 'we', or 'us'). Your engagement is formed by the formal quote, our booking confirmation, and specific service instructions. In any instance of conflicting information, the details within the booking confirmation shall prevail.

1. Estimates and Bookings
Estimates are generated based on the specific vehicle type, transit path, site accessibility, and service requirements you submit. It is your responsibility to inform us of any customisations, ground clearance issues, dimensions, mass, pre-existing damage, or salvage details. You must also confirm if the vehicle is operational (capable of steering, braking, rolling, and starting) and if any site hurdles exist. A binding agreement is formed only upon our written acceptance. Any supplementary expenses arising from omitted or flawed data will be discussed with you prior to being billed, where feasible.

2. Pricing and Settlement
The finalized price and payment schedule will be detailed in your confirmation. Full settlement is mandatory prior to the vehicle being loaded unless otherwise settled in writing. We reserve the right to pause pickup or drop-off if undisputed balances remain outstanding. Should incidental costs like storage or specialized handling occur, these will be communicated before they are applied.

3. Vehicle Readiness
Please clear the vehicle of all personal effects and loose components unless we have specifically consented to transport them in writing. The vehicle must be provided with necessary keys and only a minimal amount of fuel required for movement. Ensure all external accessories are fixed and disclose any active alarms, fluid leaks, or mechanical hazards. By booking, you warrant that you possess the legal right to move the vehicle and that its transport is compliant with law.

4. Inoperable, Damaged, and Salvage Assets
We facilitate the transport of non-running or damaged vehicles provided their condition is fully declared and compatible with our logistics network. You must provide a transparent description of the asset's state, including fluid losses, steering failures, or loading hazards. We will verify any specialized equipment needs or surcharges before finalizing the booking. While we exercise professional diligence, the physical state of a salvage vehicle may dictate specific handling methods; this does not limit your statutory protections under Australian law.

5. Pickup, Drop-off, and Inspection Reports
Transfer of the vehicle occurs at designated sites or depots, contingent upon providing safe and legal access for our heavy transport units. You or a nominated agent must be present during the scheduled window to provide keys and execute the condition report. We frequently utilize photographic evidence to document the vehicle's state at both origin and destination. You should conduct a thorough inspection upon delivery; any discrepancies must be noted on the official record and reported to us immediately with supporting images. This process does not waive your legal rights or statutory timeframes.

6. Scheduling and Variations
All timeframe indications for pickup and delivery are professional estimates and not guaranteed unless explicitly stated in writing as a fixed deadline. Durations may be influenced by distance, logistical scheduling, environmental conditions, port congestion, road safety protocols, or factors beyond our direct control. We commit to providing progress reports and will alert you to any significant scheduling shifts.

7. Storage Provisions
Your booking will specify any complimentary holding periods and the applicable daily rates thereafter. Storage fees accrue if a vehicle is not retrieved or if delivery is obstructed by factors within your influence. Please maintain open communication if you anticipate delays in vehicle collection.

8. Liability and the Australian Consumer Law
Easy Way Trans maintains a duty of care for all vehicles while in our possession. Should you identify damage linked to our service, notify us promptly with your reference number, detailed descriptions, and images to facilitate an investigation. Responsibility is determined by comparing origin and destination reports alongside other evidence. These terms do not exclude, limit, or alter any consumer guarantees or legal remedies guaranteed by the Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory statutes.

9. High-Value Vehicles and Liability Limitation
Easy Way Trans does not accept responsibility or liability for any vehicles with a market value of AUD 40,000 or more unless such responsibility has been expressly agreed to by us in writing prior to the commencement of transit. This written agreement may be provided via email, text message, or any other formal written correspondence. In the absence of such an express written agreement, transport is undertaken at the owner's risk regarding the value exceeding this threshold.

10. Third-Party Partners and Operational Routing
We may engage qualified subcontractors or external carriers to fulfill aspects of the transport agreement. We remain accountable for our contractual promises and legal requirements. We reserve the right to modify transit routes or handling techniques to ensure safety, and we will notify you if such changes fundamentally alter the nature of the booked service.

11. Communication and Data Privacy
The information you provide is utilized to coordinate the transport, manage enquiries, and process any necessary claims. Relevant data may be disclosed to the specific carriers involved in your transit. For any assistance, contact Easy Way Trans on 0456 444 000 or via our digital contact form.

These provisions are drafted to comply with Australian legal standards. If any part of these terms is deemed unenforceable, it shall be modified only to the extent necessary to comply with the law, with all other sections remaining in full effect.
